I’m a graduate of Wayne State University, Public Relations Major, Master of Science in Marketing at Walsh College and a NAACP scholarship recipient. I have professional experience in Public Relations, Marketing and Sales. My professional experience includes working in the hotel travel industry and higher education. My professional background includes working with Radisson Hotels(Director of Sales),Focus Hospitality/Splash Universe Holiday Inn Resort(Director of Marketing and Sales ) and the University of Michigan Executive Learning and Conference at the Ross School of Business(Director of Conference Planning).
I have professional certifications and awards, in Sales Productivity, Recreating the Sales Culture and Radisson Brand Certification. I also launched the successful marketing campaign, the Splash Into Reading Program at Splash Universe, which elementary school kids across the state of Michigan were encouraged to read a set amount of pages by their teacher and earn a visit to Splash Universe Indoor Water Park. I’ve created marketing plans for Splash Universe Holiday Inn Resort, University of Michigan Executive Learning and Conference Center.
I am passionate about sales & marketing, giving back to the community through education and writing. I have organized a clothing drive for destitute men in Detroit. I’m a volunteer with political campaigns and homeless organizations. I’ve also worked with United South Asian Promotions, as the Sponsor Chair, where the first Festival of India was held at Hart Plaza in Detroit. I am member of the National Sales Network and the National Black MBA Association.
